Cases of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) have recently been detected in Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. These recent cases do not present a public health concern. Avian Influenza cannot be transmitted through properly cooked meat or eggs and products from any HPAI affected flocks are prohibited from entering the food system.
