She worked at Franklin School, was a founding mother of Sigma Lambda Gamma, and a member of St. Mathias Church. Helping young children was her passion, and though she was shy and quiet, she had a soul of a giant and was loving and caring.
Julie enjoyed traveling, cooking, being involved in scouts with her children, spending time with her grandchildren, friends, and sorority sisters, and improving her cooking skills she learned from her mother. She was a devoted swim mother from the YMCA program to Highschool swim team.
She is survived by her husband, Rudy of Muscatine; four children, Arianna, Rudy, Cecilia, and Vanessa; three grandchildren, Ayla, Anastasia, and Kiyla; her parents, Michael and Guadalupe Miller; and two sisters, Michelle Miller and Cynthia Kieffer and husband, Gabe.
Julieta is preceded in death by her grandparents.
