United Soybean Board optimistic for US soy crop

The vice president of market intelligence for the United Soybean Board says the US could see a record soybean crop despite a slow start to the growing season.

Mac Marshall tells Brownfield, “We’re looking overall at a strong soy crop. It comes at a time when the world needs it. Brazil had a short crop last year. Inventories are low overall.”

He says the US needs an above trend-line soybean yield.
