Mexico leads list for soybean, wheat export inspections

Mexico played a big role in U.S. export inspections during the week ending August 25th as the top destination for soybeans and wheat, while taking the number two slot for corn and sorghum. The 2021/22 marketing year started September 1st, 2021 for beans, corn, and sorghum, while 2022/23 got underway June 1st, 2022 for wheat. The USDA’s next set of supply and demand estimates is out September 12th.

Wheat came out at 520,791 tons, down 73,482 from the week ending August 18th, but up 85,392 from the week ending August 26th, 2021.
