It’s Watermelon Week at Almost Friday Fest!

As if Almost Friday Fest couldn’t get any better, this week it does.

Those who attend the Muscatine Riverfront concert series this Thursday, August 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. will be treated to a free watermelon courtesy of Stout’s Produce. Furthermore, the beer and wine tent will be offering its special watermelon sangria.

Like previous Almost Friday Fests, this (and all forthcoming events) are free to attend. All proceeds collected from various amenities throughout the festival will go towards a permanent Riverside Ampitheater.

This week’s musical headliner is the Mud Dogs Band, offering a massive song list that spans generations and genres including rock, oldies, country, dance hits, and other crowd favorite sing-alongs!
