Farmer pleased with crop conditions

Southwestern Indiana farmer Mark Seib says his crops are looking good despite growing season challenges.

“The growing season has been quite interesting. We got some timely rains and got corn out of the ground and got it knee high and then we got into a little bit of a drought. We went for two weeks with no rain. The corn was curling and would unfold during the night, but we were still getting concerned about how long we had gone with no rain.
