USDA export inspections mixed

The USDA says corn and wheat export inspections for the week ending August 18th were up from the previous week. The 2021/22 marketing year started September 1st, 2021 for corn, sorghum, and soybeans, while 2022/23 kicked off June 1st, 2022 for wheat. The USDA’s next set of supply and demand estimates is out September 12th.

Wheat came out at 594,273 tons, up 204,359 from the week ending August 11th, but down 135,015 from the week ending August 19th, 2021.
