A US Senator from Iowa is calling on President Biden to take more action on trade negotiations.
Republican Chuck Grassley tells Brownfield the administration has been establishing trade frameworks, but nothing that would reduce tariffs. “Free trade in agriculture is one of the best things that brings prosperity to American agriculture,” he said.
He says more needs to be done. “We need a president that is going to negotiate trade. They seem to be afraid of it,” Grassley said.
