USDA invests in partner-driven, locally-led conservation

The USDA is investing $197 million to help fund locally-led conservation projects through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program.  The RCPP is a partner-driver program that leverages resources to advance innovative projects.

There are 41 projects across multiple states, including Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Iowa, Kansas, and Arkansas,

Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says RCPP allows producers, experts, and the USDA to work collaboratively together to find lasting solutions that address the challenges farmers and ranchers face.
