Rain brings relief to Indiana crops

Rain events brought relief to Indiana crops and pastures last week.  

The USDA reports as of Sunday 52% of corn and 51% of soybeans are rated good to excellent, both up from the previous week.

Corn silking reached 93% with 44% in the dough stage. 87% of soybeans are blooming with 58% setting pods.

The third cutting of alfalfa hay is 37% complete.
