Gilda’s Club Quad Cities will be hosting a charity luncheon on Tuesday, August 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Rendezvous banquet hall to benefit Champions of Hope and support those in the Muscatine community living with cancer.
The luncheon will feature speaker Margaret McCaffery, former college basketball athlete and wife of Iowa Hawkeyes Men’s Basketball Coach, Fran McCaffery. Mrs. McCaffery will speak on her own journey having had a teen with cancer.
