CME milk and cash dairy prices mostly down Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were down on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.

July Class III milk was down $0.02 at $22.52.  August closed down $0.13 to $20.23.  September closed down $0.28 at $19.89.  October was down $0.26 to $20.40.  November through June contracts ranged from down five cents in June to down twenty-six cents in March. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.4550.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.91. One sale was made at that price.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.04 at $1.92.  No sales were recorded.

Butter went down $0.0175 closing at $2.9075.  There were ten sales ranging from  $2.8975 to $2.9075.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0025 at $1.6850. One sale was made at $1.69.
