Soybeans were also one percentage point lower on the week at 69 percent. Eighteen percent of the crop was blooming, behind 32 percent for both last year and the five-year average.

Winter wheat is rated 40 percent good to excellent, down seven percent from last week. Ten percent of the crop has been harvested, near 14 percent last year.
