CME milk futures mostly down, cash dairy mixed Monday
Milk futures were mostly down, and cash dairy prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Monday.
July Class III milk was down $0.05 at $22.74. August closed down $0.05 to $21.70. September closed down $0.21 at $22.08. October was down $0.03 to $22.44. November through June contracts ranged from four cents lower in December to two cents higher in January.
Dry whey was up $0.01 at $0.50. One sale was recorded at that price.
Cheese Blocks were unchanged at $2.11. No sales were recorded.
Cheese Barrels were down $0.01 at $2.1725. One sale was recorded at that price.
Butter went up $0.03 to $3.00. There were 19 sales ranging from $2.9850 to $3.00.
Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0175 at $1.73. One sale was recorded at that price.
