CME milk futures and cash dairy mostly down Wednesday

Milk futures were all down except July, and cash dairy prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Wednesday.

July Class III milk was up $0.29 at $22.39.  August closed down $0.24 to $21.44.  September closed down $0.41 at $21.54.  October was down $0.35 at $22.05.  November through June contracts ranged from thirty-seven cents lower in May to fifty-three cents lower in April.

Dry whey was down $0.01 at $0.49.  Two sales were made at $0.49 and $0.4975

Cheese Blocks were unchanged at $2.0850. No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were up $0.0025 at $2.1675.  One sale was made at that price.

Butter was unchanged at $2.94.  Sixteen sales were recorded from $2.90 to $2.94.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0075 at $1.74. Six sales were recorded from $1.7350 to $1.74.
