Winter wheat harvest in Kanas tops 80 percent

Farmers in Kansas took advantage of dry and warm conditions last week and have harvested more than three-quarters of winter wheat.

The USDA says 83 percent of the crop is in with 29 percent rated good-to-excellent.

Corn condition is rated 57 percent good-to-excellent with 22 percent silking.

Soybeans are seen at 63 percent good-to-excellent with 18 percent of the crop blooming.

Cotton condition is rated 48 percent good-to-excellent.

Pasture and range conditions are seen at 35 percent good-to-excellent.
