CME milk futures down, cash dairy steady to up but no demand

Milk futures were down and cash dairy prices were steady to up on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Thursday.

July Class III milk was down $0.27 at $22.53.  August closed down $0.51 to $22.82.  September closed down $0.60 at $22.98.  October was down $0.53 at $23.11.  November through June contracts ranged from four cents lower in May to Fifty-one cents lower in November.

Dry whey was up $0.0050 at $0.4875.  No sales were made.

Cheese Blocks were unchanged at $2.1950. No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were also unchanged at $2.1950.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was unchanged at $2.9950.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0075 at $1.8075. No sales were recorded.
