Patricia Irwin-Tate, 52, of Wilton, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the University of Iowa.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Reverend Chris Weber will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Holden Comprehensive Center at the University of Iowa. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Patricia was born on August 20, 1969, in Muscatine, the daughter of Kenneth and Lois Truesdale Irwin. She married Vincent M. Tate on May 18, 1997, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Patricia worked as a researcher at Grain Processing Corporation. She enjoyed cats, reading Stephen King books, and flower gardening. Patricia loved spending time with her children.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Vincent Tate; two children, Jennifer Zeman and her husband, David Brushaber, and Michael Tate; a grandchild that will be coming in November; her mother, Lois Irwin; and three brothers, Douglas Irwin and his wife, Tracy, Jeffrey Irwin and his wife, Leslie, and Jayson Irwin, and his wife, Cindy.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth; and a sister Annette.
