Craig Scott ‘Shaggy’ Robertson, 57, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at home.
Scott was cremated per his wishes. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the American Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Scott’s honor, in care of his sons Jacob or John. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Scott was born on September 15, 1964, in Muscatine, the son of Daniel Robertson and Patricia McDonald.
He graduated from Muscatine High School in 1983 and worked for HNI as a welder and did concrete side jobs. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and coached football for many years. He liked watching dirt racing and NASCAR and also enjoyed hanging out with friends.
Scott is survived by his two sons, Jacob Dusenberry of Wilton, and John Robertson and wife, Gena of Muscatine; four grandchildren, Jordan, Nic, and Bailey Dusenberry, and Ella Robertson; his father, Dan Robertson of Muscatine; four siblings, Randy Robertson of Muscatine, Deanna Castillo and husband, Roy, of Muscatine; Steve Robertson and wife, Jenn, of Iowa City; and Sara Sedam and husband, Andy, of New Boston; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia; stepfather, Jim McDonald; nephew, Nathan Robertson; and his best friend, Jay LaRue.
