“May the force be with you.”

A line that every Star Wars fan on the planet is universally synonymous with—including those vaguely unfamiliar to the science fiction franchise—especially on May 4th of each year, National Star Wars Day.

The Muscatine High School (MHS) Band commemorated the day dedicated to all things Jedi, Sith, Droids, and Smugglers in the foyer of the school paying a musical homage to the film’s iconic score composed by John Williams.

In this video taken by MHS Assistant Principal Morgan Mohr, students perform the infamous “Main Title” theme in addition to the “Imperial March,” the tune instantly recognizable with fictional antagonist Darth Vader.
