In celebration of Pride Month, the Des Moines Arts Festival presented by Nationwide is hosting its first ever Drag Show on Sunday, June 26 as part of the 2022 entertainment line-up. The Festival is scheduled from June 24 – 26 in Western Gateway Park in downtown Des Moines.
The line-up of drag personalities features some of Iowa’s top performers, Nikki Love, Mae Banks, Jack Frost, Kitty B, and Sharaya Sinz Diamond and Kansas City’s Riri Sanchez-Herrera. The queens and king will perform on the Hy-Vee Main Stage from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Guests interested in expanding their experience can purchase a ticket to a Drag Brunch before the show. The $40 ticket includes access to a brunch buffet, a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, access to a private bar and an exclusive mix and mingle with the drag personalities. The Drag Brunch opens at 10:30 a.m., prior to the Festival’s 11 a.m. opening. Tickets are limited and are available now atwww.desmoinesartsfestival.org/dragbrunch.

Seating is casual and available on a first-come, first-serve basis; early arrival is encouraged for each night’s headline acts. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
