Fieldwork delays continue in some areas
Weather-related fieldwork delays are testing the patience of many farmers.
Ben Kron raises corn and soybeans in southern Indiana.
“We only have about 100 acres out of 2,000 sprayed,” he says.
He says many farmers in his area are in the same situation.
“Anhydrous wise, there are a few farmers trying here and there, but not much at all has been done for myself and most the people around where we’re at,” he says.
Kron says he’s hopeful they’ll be able to begin planting soon.
