CME dairy markets end the week mixed

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mixed to close the week on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.

April Class III milk was unchanged at $24.39.  May closed down $.13 at $24.47.  June closed down $.13 at $24.49.  July was up $.08 at $24.49.  August through February contracts ranged from eighteen cents lower in February to eight cents higher in October.

Dry whey was up $.03 at $0.6050.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese Blocks were down $.01 closing at $2.37.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were unchanged, closing at $2.34.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was up $.04 at $2.6750.  Six sales were recorded from $2.6350 to $2.6750.

Nonfat dry milk was up $.0150 to $1.7550.  Three sales were made ranging from $1.75 to $1.7550.
