Nebraska Corn supports E15 summertime waiver

Nebraska Corn is thankful President Biden is given U.S. drivers continued access to E15 fuel.

Nebraska Corn Board Chair Jay Reiners says the waiver will offer immediate and substantial price relief to all Americans.

He says producers and consumers need fair access to E15 and urges the EPA to modify the warning label to allow permanent, year-round sales of the blend.

Nebraska Corn Growers Association President Andy Jobman says without federal legislation, E15 would require another waiver next year to be sold during the 2023 summer months. “This illustrates why we’ve advocated strongly for the Next Generation Fuels Act (NGFA),” he syas “The NGFA would provide immediate access to E15 across the country and put us on a path to E25, a much cleaner and more sustainable fuel.”
