The Muscatine High School (MHS) Drama Department will present their upcoming musical Newsies on April 21, 22 & 23. Shows are Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 7:00 pm, with a matinee performance on Saturday at 2:00 pm.

Based on the Disney movie of the same name, NEWSIES! tells the story of the newsboys strike of 1899 in New York, when kids stood up to powerful newspaper moguls, demanding fair treatment and leading the way toward the eventual creation of child labor laws in America.

Performances will be held in the MHS Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased via the online box office at Muscatine Hs.booktix.com. All seats are only $8 when purchased in advance online! The online box office is open up to 15 minutes prior to the start of each performance. Tickets are $10 if purchased at the door, day of show.  MHS also notes that they cannot accept any passes for this event.

Make arrangements to join the Muskies for this very entertaining and family-friendly show packed with non-stop thrills and a lasting message. They hope to see you there!
