CME milk and dairy prices closed mostly higher Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.

April Class III milk was up a penny to $23.69.  May closed up $.08 at $24.55.  June closed up $.08 at $24.35.  July was up $.22 at $24.17.  August through March contracts ranged from twelve cents lower to eighteen cents higher with November and December futures dropping.

Dry whey was down $.0525 at $0.61.  six sales were recorded from $.61 to $.64.

Cheese Blocks were up $.0450 closing at $2.2850.  One sale was made at that price.

Cheese Barrels were $.05 higher, closing at $2.2525.  Seven trades  were recorded from $2.21 to $2.2525.

Butter was up a penny to $2.71.  Two sales were recorded at $2.6950 and $2.71.

Nonfat dry milk closed up $.0050 at $1.85.  Eight sales were recorded from $1.8450 to $1.87.
