Export sales declined this week for many commodities

Export sales for soybeans and pork were up, whiles sales for the rest of the major commodities were down. 

Soybean sales were up noticeably from the previous week with primary increases for China, the Netherlands, Japan, and Taiwan.  Pork sales were up 19% with Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Canada, and the Dominican Republic listed as the primary destinations. 

Beef sales dropped 17%.  Corn was down 35%, wheat declined 39%, rice sales were down 80%, and cotton was down 24%. 

The USDA’s next set of supply and demand estimates is out April 8th.
