A wet, but wet pattern ahead for much of the Heartland
Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or below-normal temperatures from the Rockies westward, except in southern California, while warmer-than-normal weather will prevail from the Plains to the Atlantic Coast.
Meanwhile, near or above-normal precipitation across most of the country should contrast with drier-than-normal conditions from southern California to western Texas.
