A portion of 171st Street near SSAB will be closed from Monday, Feb. 28, until around the middle of summer for a culvert replacement project.
Contractors will begin mobilizing equipment and personnel to begin the grading and culvert portion of the project beginning February 28 between Bill Sharp Blvd (SSAB Gate 2) and Zachary Ave (Y36).
Heuer Construction plans to move in and begin paving in June. Construction is anticipated to be completed in late July as long as the weather cooperates.
