Beth Ann Poci née Newton, 45, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in her honor to her husband, Todd, for his children. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
A Celebration of Life will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Wesley United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Luncheon will be from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion following the burial.
Beth was born on December 24, 1976, in Davenport, the daughter of Frank and Lois Henderson Newton. She married Todd E. Poci on September 1, 2007, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Muscatine.
Beth graduated from Muscatine High School in 1995. She later graduated from Cornell College with her bachelor’s degree. Beth worked at the UnityPoint Hospital in Muscatine for more than a decade, most recently in administration. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Being a wife and mother was so important to Beth, she loved her family and treasured the closeness she had with her husband and children. She enjoyed crafting, art, and music. Beth liked nature and bird watching.
Beth is survived by her parents; husband, Todd E. Poci; three children, Lily Anais, Violet Newton, and Elijah Joseph Poci; her parents, Frank and Lois Newton; her siblings, Erik Newton, Jacqueline Josh, and Shawna Ormsby; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Christie Poci; brother-in-law, Marc Poci; several aunts, uncles, and nephews; many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Callie Jean Poci; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents; and Rueben Trejo.
