MO Cattlemen’s endorses Kehoe for Governor in 2024

The Missouri Cattlemen’s Association has endorsed Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe in his run for Governor in 2024.

Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe accepted an endorsement from the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association Sunday. Kehoe tells Brownfield its humbling to get support from the farm and ranch group.

“When you get that kind of nod from people you’re so close to and been around for a long time, it’s an incredible experience and very much moves us, touches our heart,” Kehoe said about he and his wife.

Kehoe said he looks to continue workforce development progress seen under Governor Parson, improve infrastructure, including broadband, and boost the ag economy.

“We need to get younger people into farming so we have to show them these opportunities; that would be what I drive behind – how we continue to grow our ag economy,” Kehoe said. “Because the ripple effect, I don’t care if you’re in urban or rural Missouri, the ripple effect of the ag economy is significant in this state and that’s something we need to not forget.”

Brownfield interviewed Kehoe at the Missouri Cattlemen’s Annual Meeting Sunday.
