Brandon Rheingans officially became a member of the Muscatine Fire Department as he was sworn into service by Mayor Brad Bark during Thursday’s City Council meeting.
The meeting was also the first presided over by Mayor Bark.
During the meeting, the city council voted to consider temporarily lifting the ban on pit bull dogs at their January 13 meeting.
