Boys basketball clinics offered this winter by Muscatine Parks and Recreation

An opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball through ball handling, shooting, and defensive techniques will be offered during a Boys Basketball Clinic this winter sponsored by Muscatine Parks and Recreation.

Participants will be guided by trained Parks and Recreation staff during this program that will be held on Saturday afternoons (January 15 – February 5) in the Central Middle School Gymnasium,

Three age divisions will be offered to boys in the first through sixth grades with first and second graders taking the floor at 2:00 p.m., third and fourth graders on the hardwood at 3:00 p.m., and fifth and sixth graders on the court at 4:00 p.m.

Registration is currently underway and will continue through January 13. Registration fee is $30.00 per child for Muscatine residents and $35.00 per child for non-residents. All participants will receive a tee-shirt.
