New Illinois State Fair manager named
Rebecca Clark has been hired as the new manager for the Illinois State Fair.
Clark previously served as the public information officer for the Illinois Department of Agriculture where she worked closely with state fair staff promoting and marketing the fair. Most recently she served as the public information officer for the Illinois Emergency Management Agency where she helped keep fairgoers safe and healthy during the 2021 Illinois State Fair.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton and Director of Agriculture Jerry Costello have each expressed support and excitement to work with Clark in this new role.
Clark is only the second woman to hold the Illinois State Fair Manager position which she assumed on January 1st. Josh Gross will continue to manage the DuQuoin State Fair.
The 2022 Illinois State Fair is scheduled for August 11-21st in Springfield.
