A wide-range of temperatures ahead for the Heartland
Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures across most
of the country, while cooler-than-normal conditions will be confined to northern California, the Pacific Northwest, and the nation’s northern tier.
Meanwhile, below-normal precipitation from the central and southern Plains into the Southeast should contrast with wetter-than-normal weather in the West and across the North as far east as Lake Superior.
