CME dairy markets mostly down Monday

Milk futures fell except for January and February and cash dairy prices were mostly down on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Monday. 

November Class III milk was down $.02 at $17.95.  December closed down $.15 at $18.42.  January closed up $.01 at $18.99.  February was up $.01 at $19.11.  March through October contracts ranged from five to eighteen cents lower.

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.70.  No trades were recorded, but there were two offers at $.73.

Cheese Blocks were unchanged at $1.8575.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels went down $.01 closing at $1.51.   No sales were recorded, but one offer at $1.51.

Butter closed down $.0575 at $1.99.   There was one sale at that price.

Nonfat dry milk went up $.0125 to $1.5675.  There was one trade at $1.56 and a couple of offers at $1.57 and $1.5750.
