Milk futures, cash dairy trade lower
Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed mostly lower Monday pressured by cash markets.
November Class III milk a penny lower at $18.00. December down 13 cents at $17.49. January down a nickel at $18.12. February a penny higher at $18.56. March through May contracts two cents lower to a dime higher.
Dry whey down $0.0050 at $0.6750. One trade was made at that price.
Blocks down $0.05 at $1.70.
Barrels down $0.02 at $1.5175. Two trades were made at $1.5150 and $1.5175.
Butter unchanged at $1.95.
Nonfat dry milk down $0.0050 at $1.5450.
