CME dairy prices tumbled Friday

Milk futures fell sharply and cash dairy prices were mostly down on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday. 

November Class III milk was down $.18 at $18.01.  December closed down $.46 at $17.62.  January closed down $.31 at $18.17.  February was down $.11 at $18.55.  March through October contracts ranged from one to seventeen cents lower.

Dry whey remains rose a penny to $0.67.  One trade was recorded at that price. 

Blocks were down $.06 at $1.75.  One sale was recorded at $1.81.

Barrels went down $.0525 closing at $1.4975.   Nineteen trades were recorded between $1.50 and $1.55.

Butter closed down $.0075 at $1.95.   There was one sale at that price.

Nonfat dry milk went down $.01 to $1.55.  No sales were recorded.
