Last year, a World War II plaque honoring Muscatine High School students who made the ultimate sacrifice during the war was found in a closet at Muscatine High School.

The Muscatine Community School District said the plaque was in rough shape until student Landin McCrery and Dave Tometich restored it. The plaque was re-dedicated Thursday morning on Veterans Day.

Special thanks to former Muskie, Logan Rinnert, who found the plaque and brought it to the staff’s attention at MHS.
