Deere & Company employees have voted to stay on strike after the United Auto Workers rejected a second offer from the company Tuesday.
Members turned down the six-year proposal 55% to 45% continuing the strike that began on October 14.
UAW spokesperson Brian Rothenberg says they don’t know when negotiations will restart, and updates will be provided through the local union.
Deere says the latest offer would’ve created “greater competitive challenges within our industries.”
The strike affects more than 10,000 workers across Iowa, Kansas and Illinois.
