Nutrien Ag Solutions discusses partnership with the National FFA Organization
Brownfield spoke with Nutrien Ag Solutions’ Brent Smith during the 94th National FFA Convention and Expo.
Smith, vice president of marketing, sustainability, and proprietary products, says Nutrien strengthened its relationship with the National FFA Organization about three years ago.
“FFA really is aligned with a lot of things Nutrien Ag Solutions is aligned with around sustainability, around innovation, and around diversity, equity, and inclusion,” he says.
He says it’s critical that the National FFA Organization is providing the next agricultural leaders.
“Another reason we partner with FFA is as a recruiting tool and to really attract the people in FFA because the organization gives so many career lessons whether it’s leadership, work experience in SAE programs, and more,” he says. “We want FFA members to work for us.”
