Michigan Ag C.O.R.E program taking applicants

Farmers and ag business professionals can apply for the first term of the Michigan AG C.O.R.E program.

Janna Fritz with the Michigan Soybean Committee tells Brownfield the program will focus on communication, organization, relationships, and engagement for future ag leaders.

“It’s really getting down to the person, how they can work in teams, how they can work amongst the industry, what opportunities exist for future partnerships,” she explains.

The new program is offered by the Michigan Soybean Committee, Michigan Wheat Program and Michigan Potato Industry Commission for anyone in agriculture with a desire to grow personal leadership skills.

Seven sessions throughout 2022 will offer participants an introspective dive into their leadership abilities.

Applications are due November 1st.
