The Muscatine High School volleyball and cross country teams begin their postseasons this week.
The Muskies boys and girls cross country teams will be competing in the state qualifier in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday afternoon.
Muscatine volleyball (14-17) plays host to Cedar Rapids Jefferson (9-25) Thursday at 7 p.m. in the IGHSAU Class 5A Region 6 Semifinals.
The last time to the two squads met was in the 2020 Clinton Tournament, with Muskies winning in straight sets.
The winner will advance to the Regional Championship on October 26.
