Minnesota soybean harvest down to last 9%

Just nine percent of Minnesota’s soybean crop remains with harvest progressing about two weeks faster than normal.

The latest USDA weekly crop update says corn harvest is 11 days ahead of the five-year average at 52 percent complete.

Corn moisture content is averaging 18 percent.

Sugarbeets are 38 percent harvested, with 74 percent considered good to excellent.

Farmers are also tilling ground and applying manure.
