RFA: ethanol exports up big on month
U.S. ethanol exports saw a sharp month to month improvement during August.
The Renewable Fuels Association says ethanol exports of 80.48 million gallons were up 56% from July and the largest monthly volume since March. Exports of distillers dried grains with solubles were 1.24 million tons, a six-year high and 17% more than the previous month, with Mexico, Vietnam, and Turkey leading the list.
For the year to date, U.S. ethanol exports are 796.3 million gallons, 10% behind this point in 2020, and DDG exports are 7.73 million tons, 10% ahead of the year ago pace.
