More gains for milk futures and cash dairy Thursday
On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, October Class III milk futures closed 24 cents higher at $18.11. November up 38 to $18.26. December milk settled 32 cents higher at $17.88. January through March contracts eight to 14 cents higher.
Dry whey steady at $0.58.
Blocks up $0.07 at $1.8725.
Barrels up $0.0450 at $1.7550. Two trades at $1.7550 and $1.76.
Butter up $0.0150 at $1.76.
Nonfat dry milk up $0.0175 at $1.3975.
