Agronomist says nitrogen and fungicides have been key to crop quality

Brandon Beck is an agronomist for Channel Seed in Illinois.  He says the 2021 growing season has created a crop that varies from top to bottom.  He says some of the factors that will impact the success of the crop have been nitrogen management and fungicide use.

One of the other challenges he says they’re seeing this year is significant fall armyworm pressure.
