Tell us about the services your station provides.

KDLM is a locally-owned station that is a part of Leighton Broadcasting. The Detroit Lakes/Perham cluster (104.1-FM KBOT, 99.5 FM KPRW, 102.3 KRCQ, KDLM) focus on celebrating, serving and connecting our community. One way that KDLM shines is through local news, information, weather and high school sports. Leighton Broadcasting and its employees is active in the community, groups, activities, businesses, and schools.

Tell us about your community involvement.

We cover a lot of local events, especially during the summer. From small town festivals like Vergas Looney Days, Perham Turtle Races, Breakfast on the Farm to the large-scale events like WeFest, Western Minnesota Steam Threathers Reunion, and Detroit Lakes Water Carnival…we are there participating, giving updates and being active in our communities.

What other Learfield networks or services are you affiliated with.

KDLM is an affiliate of Minnesota News Network and Golden Gopher Athletics (football, basketball, hockey). KDLM also teams with Learfield for Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Timberwolves coverage.
