One person was killed and two others injured when a train struck a car in West Liberty on Saturday afternoon.
Police said the collision happened at the N. Columbus Street railroad crossing about 2 p.m.
Two of the car’s occupants were taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals for evaluation and treatment, KRCG reported. One person in the car was killed. Police have not released the identities of the victims.
