CME milk futures continue downward slide, cash dairy mixed Wednesday

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange continued to slide and cash dairy was mixed Wednesday. 

August Class III milk was up $.02 at $16.19.  September closed down $.18 at $17.13.  October closed down $.08 at $17.12.  November was down $.19 at $17.41.  December through February contracts ranged from five to nineteen cents lower. 

Dry whey was up $.0075 at $0.5275.  No sales were recorded. 

Blocks fell $0.02 to $1.76.  

Barrels went up $.0225 to $1.5125.   Two trades were made at that price.

Butter closed down $.0050 at $1.6850.   There were 11 trades ranging from $1.6650 to $1.6850.

Nonfat dry milk was down $.0075 at $1.2525.  Two sales were recorded at $1.2550.
